Simon, Anybody can get one of the t-shirts if they want... It is free advertising after all. People just need to go to the shop ZIK ZAK www.zikzak.co.uk/ and choose what they want to buy.

So I owe Paul (or wherever he robbed the image from) a t-shirt.

Method for winning T-shirt comp.... Phase 1: Suck up to judge by choosing dog style vaguely reminiscent of judges dog. Rip image from the intarwebtubes and submit as own (ensure image older than 35 years to avoid litigation) Phase 2: ?? Phase 3: Profit /Business plan courtesy of underpants gnomes. //drunkish ///Thanks Toby ;D

It was not just me that favoured that image, so it must just be a good one to use.
I forgot to tell you that I get to choose what is printed on the back of the 'winners' t-shirt.....

So do we just walk into this shop and tell them we'd like an archaeology live t-shirt? Not sure i'm getting the right end of the stick.

Yes, you have the correct end of the stick.
Just go to the shop (they are not open Sun & Mon) and order an Archaeology Live! t-shirt, or sweater, or hat or y-fronts.... That is the advantage of the system, you get to choose what colour, size, style etc you want to buy.

I forgot to tell you that I get to choose what is printed on the back of the 'winners' t-shirt..... I scanned that and thought it said " you get to choose" and was thinking cool, who can I offend now. Then I reread.... Oops..... Did I ever tell you what a great bloke you are Toby? ;D /btw. at the risk of a thread hijack, I'm off to Ban Chiang in a fortnight. Looks very interesting en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ban_Chiangwww.museum.upenn.edu/new/research/Exp_Rese_Disc/Asia/banchiang/banchiang.shtml//Wonder if they have a trainee programme (a $39 airfare and only 2 hours away for me.)

Very interesting thread here about the Hungate dig! My husband is a Hungate and we are researching his family history......fascinating stuff...if anyone is interested We'll be happy to come up and cut a few ribbons for you....can we bring a cousin or two with? Oh yes, Hungate comes from the old 'Hundgarter' or 'dog guarder', keeper of the kings hounds.
