Sorry Paul, just that I have been on a pipeline watching brief for three months now.I wonder if that is some kind of world record or something.Guess what I found too-nothing hardly at all-one stone lined culvert and some field drains-but its not all about finds(I tell myself) I owe you more than beer Paul, you showed me how to talk to the oriental ladies and i have not looked back since. Mandy-have you ever been to London?-one word the price of beer is exhorbitant-there, got you reconsidering it now huh.If the beer is very dear how much will a snake bite cost.We will manage it somehow. Lots of sorrys there- anyone else like an apology while I'm at it? Back to nice Ged now its bank holiday here on monday.

Ged, Maaaaaate, only jokin' no need to apologise. I'd forgotten about those 18 nubile Japanese lasses you inveigled yourself with, pity the photos didn't work out. Thanks for the laugh again. (everyone else - you'll have to guess ;D ) Domo Aragato. P. (but you still owe me a beer! )

Lots of sorrys there- anyone else like an apology while I'm at it? Back to nice Ged now its bank holiday here on monday. Mentioning of Bank Holidays could be grounds for an apology Some of us are working on Monday. If anyone is in Meadowhall doing some retail therapy, come along and say hello. I'll be playing in the sand pit with DIG on Tour on Monday then Thursday to Saturday. Of course I will be promoting Archaeology Live! as well so it is all good. It should be good fun and maybe I'll get chance to shop as well... Anyway, it is supposed to rain tomorrow so I guess being indoors will be OK. Nevermind the apology Ged, just buy me a drink at the reunion.... ;D

I'll get time off in lieu, so no extra dosh to buy people drinks with... Slight issue with the hire van so I arrived there at 9.45 but the other staff and kit didn't.... Spent a couple of hours wandering round the shops, but I am a hopeless shopper and find it hard to decide on anything so I didn't make any purchases (except a Whopper and Fries) and was at home by 1 pm.... I'll be back there on Thursday, hopefully the kit problems will have been sorted !

Helloooo Ellen, pipeline is from Piethorne(they all keep saying "is it Monty piethorne" at work) to Newhey-up in t hills around Milnrow and shaw-oldham way.But I have found nothing-well sorry found a victorian beer bottle today at exactly 11 o'clock and a door handle last week. All round is sheep country. When the lambs were born they were all sprayed with a letter corresponding to the same letter sprayed on their mums(still following me here) and I swear they all lined up in the field to spell out -well a bad word-of that I am sure-or I could be cracking up.see you soon in the queue,Ged

By the way, Ged, do you check your personal messages when you log in or is it a waste of time sending them?
