Just watched it, the inserts were a bit unecessary but I think thats par for the course with TV nowadays. I thought they were a little sparing in their enthusiasm for archaeology with "...we were really surprised that archaeology came third, but it's not too bad really" . I was a little put out when he said "everyone on the the site is a cool young person" >:(there were plenty of us who are (shall we say) of more mature years, although we were all cool of course !

I asked my grandma if she would record it but she couldn't work the video-recorder!

I've got it recorded on my hard disk recorder attached to my TV. If you like I'll attempt to burn it to DVD, but I can't promise that it will work it has been a bit tempremental in the past.

I've now got it on a DVD but you will need a player that can handle DVD+R format, or if you want I can burn a DVD-R format. If you let me know your address I can send it to you in the post.

Yeah, I noticed that too !

I mentioned the TV thingy to him at work today and there was the usual mumbling and shuffling of feet...etc...

I've just watched the prog and thought it was quite good (there were even a couple of shots of me taking a tour round in the background !). The Margaret Cox bit, interesting as it was, probably could have been shorter, particularly as the bit he shot about Dig was cut very short in the final edit.

I have put the prog in my "Keep" list (along with 'my' Time Team episode) on Sky+ so if any more copies are required I can supply on VHS or DVD.... ;D

I too may be taking people up on a DVD offer as the video recorder and I had a falling out.
Perhaps collectable at the reunion??
