Hello,
(Apologies to those who I owe an e-mail. My home e-mail has been suffering from a virus called the tooolazee.worm.)
Well I finally got finished outside last week only to find out that I will be outside again by the end of the month...... The project that I will be running lasts for a pretty long period of time which as things stand means that I will not, amongst other things, be 'officially' on the training dig this year.
Of course I will be hanging around doing the odd thing (I will pre-empt any references to 'hanging around like a bad smell' etc.. now). I could also be pursuaded to go out for the occasional archaeological discussion/drink during the week.
Were any people still interested in going out for a 'discussion' in spring time?
Hope everybody is well.
Toby

Hi Toby - good to hear from you. [quote author=Toby as things stand means that I will not, amongst other things, be 'officially' on the training dig this year. [/quote] So does that mean all the shineys in T5 will be mine, alllll mine.....?? Thinking about it, nope, probably not. You will turn up one Sunday afternoon, just as I have cleaned yet another layer of Victorian path, have a little 'tickle' with ya trowel and something nice will just drop out of the section..... Not that I am bitter or anything.... but the place won't be the same without you..... Suggestion of Spring 'discussion' sounds appealing. Pam x

Hi Toby, nice to hear your still in the land of the living. Hope the weather is kind to you when you go back outside. A spring gathering sounds rather nice. A little food, some wine and good conversation, or in the real world, a packet of crisps, a few pints and The Darkness on the juke box, and not in the Wonky Donkey cos no one turns up when we meet in there!!! Hope to see you in the spring and all the rest of you, Mel

A spring gathering sounds good! Especially if it happens before May as I'm going to be in Italy then. It would be really good to see everyone again. Nisha

hello all, hope everyone is well. a meet for a 'discussion' sounds interesting to me - any weekend after the end of March is good. And i'm with Mel on the wonkey donkey subject - suggest somewhere a little more neutral! Hope to catch up with everyone soon, but have been having some technical problems of late. Take care all Donna xxxx

Hello everyone. A spring get together sounds good, unfortunately unless it is in May I wont be able to make it. Hope to see you soon.
