Just a quick hello from sunny Swaziland. I've been in Africa for a month, trying in vain to teach children ranging in age from 3 to 15, and with their limited English and my limited siSwati, its more of a challenge than drawing cobbles for 3 weeks. I am assured there is no archaeology in Swaziland. I'm checking out the museum next week. Despite the lack of digging, I still come home every day covered in dusty red mud. Beautiful colour though - beats the grey mud in England. Oops, being chucked out of the internet cafe. Hope all is well in England and the world of archaeology. I can't wait to start my arch project in South Africa next month. Em xx

It sounds like you are having fun.... I have always thought that archaeology is a bit of a foreign language to people at first anyway?
Have fun with the teaching.
I remember dust.
