Just wanted to post a little (well it will probably end up being huge!) thank you for the training dig this Easter.
It was my first oppertunity to dig on an excavation and i learned so much, I have Uni digs in August and it has set me up really well for those.
All the stupid mistakes I would have made on my Uni assessed digs .... I made with you guys instead!!! LOL. Tipping my loose into the finds bucket, using the wrong pencil for planning, not saving my apple cores for Harry, thinking i can keep up with Toby on the tour of York etc etc ;D
I really did learn a lot and to make sure i get the best assessed uni dig i can Ive decided to come back in Summer. We really did go through all of the basics so i gained loads of confidence and on top of that i found some stuff too!
Thank you guys, all of you, for being so friendly, approachable and most importantly proffessional. I only hope my Uni dig is to the same standard!
See you all in Summer!

Thank you for coming!
The whole Archaeology Live! project is based on the trainees so it is great when it works so well.
