Hi,
Is anyone else here is signed up for the first 2 weeks this summer (2009)? Just looking to meet some people online ahead of time, see if anyone might be interested in splitting accomodations etc!

We have a number of people coming in those weeks who will be sorting accommodation - so hopefully somebody will get back to you.
Give us a shout if you get no suitable responses.
I will see about flagging it up on the Facebook bits as well.

Helloo I'm coming in the first three weeks  I was originally planning to get the train in from Leeds every morning and cycle over from the station...but this would require really early starts which might start to drag after afew days.... I've been looking into the cost of B&b's and youth hostels and am still trying to find a good price...I was wondering if any York Uni students wouldn't mind taking me on as a lodger? Have you had any luck? Kim x |

Hiyas! I came in Easter but i was lucky as a group of friends shared a private apartment so it worked out at £100 a week. This summer I'm not so lucky as I'm comming for 3 weeks. 1 week im staying in York on my own and then 2 weeks Ive had to book a holiday home as my partner and son are coming up as a kind of holiday. I dont get much of a holiday but hey, ill see them at night LOL! Problem was that even booking a whole cottage or house seemed virtually impossible let alone finding a cheap deal on something small. The Youth Hostel seems full up for summer and thats the only budget thing i can find  |
