Well it's here, the end of another year of trench foot, tears and tantrums. But has it been worth it? I for one think it's been great - the anticipation of going - the chance to get in there and do what I love to do - the chance to make new friends - the endless logging on for updates- and, I think, a beer or two on the way. So Yes, it's worth it (for me anyway) and thank you to all for making this year as good as it has been. Phill.

The end became very real yesterday, walking onto site and finding only 4 people there...no new trainees, no one setting up at the start of the day: it felt really odd. It has been a fantastic summer though, lots of fab memories and shiny new friends to keep in touch with. I miss people already!!
So Ged, when's that reunion....?!

Update 14/9 Recording has been finished in all but Trench 1 Toby started backfilling, starting with Trench 9. The finds washing is all done but there are still 20+ more boxes for drying / bulk bagging over the next few days. Fee is heading back to Scotland this evening...
