As for the weather on the digs 2004 summer was a miserable one,not that i was there like but it was reminiscent of the bloody somme i swear i came down with trenchfoot and rising damp.Didnt know wether to dig or plant rice shoots (ask vanessa she was in the same trench)

We may have 'assistance' with the weather this summer.
I am just drawing up a few plans for trench layouts/viewing access etc... that will accompany the project design. There is a good amount of space to use and little that hinders the positioning of trenches.
There are sandwich/ice cream shops within 2minutes walk. There are also a selection of pubs that are there for beer (or other cold drink) o'clock.
..... I just need to decide what size of hot tub to install so we can have a good relaxing soak whilst supervising the digging with laser pointers (joke)

Well I suppose for any profession which involves physical labour, a...rounded...diet is fairly essential, if we put personal tastes to one side. Ice cream could always be replaced with some other sort of sweet treat eg chocolate...mmmm...
