It does sound horrendous and they always do twist things around and we will all have to be more careful in future.I always o.k stuff with Kurt if some beefy guy turns up on site with a press camera.See you all on set.

you maybe famous ged, but you didnt make it onto tvs rudest moments, and wotever programme they first showed it on, snowboarding stark bollock naked, and that was for the love of the sport, and of course the £20 bribe and as much beer and bbq'd chicken as i could consume. -7 is colder than it sounds. and ice burn hurts.

Time Team is better than most programmes, because the archaeology is one of the things they want to put across, and they have the time to do so. At the other end of the scale are the short slots filmed by people who don't understand archaeology but do know what they think the audience wants. On a related issue, I recall fondly the press photographer who rigged Clive up with a deerstalker and magnifying glass for a site photo!
I'm curious about the web diary time now. The real time is 13.48 and my computer says it is 13.50. And the web diary says it is....

Cheers Kurt, I'd hoped that was long forgotten. I gave the hat and magnifying glass a miss, but still felt a right plonker trying balance on top of a ladder with a bit of pot in one hand and my trowel in the other, just so the photographer could get a good shot of the site in the background!

Sorry, Yahoo seem to have changed the URL for some reason. Should be working okay now.

I can't open it either.I hope they get it sorted soon-if not you can bring a copy along to the reunion bash.(Am I evil or just twisted?) The picture I have in my mind of Kurt is at one of the BBQs, smiling ,with a can of Boddington's in hand, what more does a man need?

Ged,
I've tried setting it up again and it seems to be working okay at the moment - at least, Margaret can access it. If it doesn't work for you this time, I can only assume it's a permissions glitch with Yahoo not allowing the forum to view my photo album, though it is set up for open access.
It's not from the barbecue, it's from a muddier venue and Kurt is easy to 'spot'!

I finally got it.It looks like a food fight of mammoth proportions has been going on - is that Yorkshire's famous onion gravy or just mud and how did it get there? It would be a good idea for various past trainees(survivors) to put up their many pictures taken at St Len's so the rest of us can take a look at them.I never took any-I was always too busy working.

Thanks Clive - I finally got to take a look at Kurt's pic Ged - a small selection of my pics from St L 2003 are up on my website (mostly T5) - www.unrealisticgrassyknoll.co.ukAfter I have finished my dissertation in April there is a good possibility that I will have quite a bit of "free time" (ie. will be unemployed, or 'resting') so, if I manage to remember how to use Dreamweaver I will upload some from 2004. I also have a full set of Toby's pics from 2003 on CD and there really are some "classics" in that lot so with T's permission I could upload a few of those too. Pam

Put whatever pictures you want to on the WWW.... I have nothing to hide........ or do I?
All the ones which were 'enhanced' were never saved, so there will not be any of the classics on show at the BBQ.
(Before anybody gets any really bad ones of me out... just think who is sorting out the placements and bookings for this summer......)

In the photos from last year there are a few I would just love to see : The one where I am actually working (is there one in existance?), The one taken at the BBQ where everyone was sober (does one exist?) A picture of a trench that does not look like every other trench picture, Me dressed sensibly without a "crazy" t-shirt, One of last years visitors who look remotley interested, The one of people sieving where they don't look suicidal and ready to kill again(does one exist?). Are there any other pics anyone else would just love to see? Reunion soon,I can't wait ,Ged

Im sorry Ged but none of these images you request actualy exhist, and a situation in which one of these could have been taken did in reality not occur. I'm sorry if this dissapoints you in any way but remember. It's your round. And Mirella knows it!
