Ok then, everybody seems to be sorted as to what they are doing........
I am trying to arrange so that a load of people from here (Hungate site) go to the pub after work as well. This will include the manager of the Hungate site, Peter, who is new to YAT.
We normally finish at 3.30 on a friday and I am hoping to head across town at that sort of time. If people get to York earlier than that I may be able to give you a quick tour round the Hungate facilities and some of the bits we have got already. I may also be able to do this on the Saturday, but need to check.
At some point I will have to head back and get changed, feed the dog, etc but will go back to the Minster Inn asap after that.
The site mobile is the same as it was in summer (07908 210026) so it can be used to contact me. Make sure you put a name in any texts as I will not know who they are from.
Cheers,
Toby

d**n and blast it! Teachers have been really mean and given me 3 essays for Monday!!! 3!!! Plus all other random work... I'm very sorry but there's just no way I'm going to be able to make it on Saturday now... Normally I might have been able to get the work done on Sunday, but I have a rehearsal all afternoon which rules that option out completely. Hope you all have a fantastic time (you are free to interpret any way in which you see fit...)

What a good get-together (apologies to absent friends!); it was great to see people again and to meet new friends, especially the delightful Harry. Ness, were you planning on the middle or last weekend of the Viking Festival for the Feb reunion (I think the festival ran for 2 weeks last year)? Don't forget Neal's address when you have it. Noel, so sorry you couldn't make it, and under such painful circumstances. I'll send you your own message with some of the little I can remember in it. I think I was led astray!

Outside a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside a dog, it's too dark to read!

Hi Gill and all The Viking Festival ;D, which takes place in February, normally ran for 10 days or so. This gave us a choice of two weekends on which to hold our spring reunion. Unfortunately next year the festival is a 5 day affair : 14th-18th February. Looks like the reunion has one date and one date only: FRIDAY 16th - SUNDAY 18th FEB 2007. There's no point it trying to make plans at this stage as the programme has not been published yet. Will place a link to info once it appears. However some items for consideration: a). dinner on the Saturday night (booked in advance) b). various daytime (Sat/Sun) activities in group booking c). Saturday evening programme for those who wish. Anyway, all food for thought! Please add to the list, but lets just keep it as simple as possible. As usual, if you decide that you can/want come, book your accommodation early. If you need info on this, look to previous posts under last reunion. Hope you have all recovered from Saturday night

Paul... how many people could you fit in the servants 'room' in your place? It would be great to come and sample the good life!
Phil... Good luck with the knee (I heard that Noel may have a spare one)

Hey Toby, If they were very 'friendly' and had an asian perspective on personal space, then we could fit lots! I think you need to webcast these reunions for those that can't make it. (or at least post some photos) Guitarman - Happy Birthday! Hooroo
