Navigation between subjects and posts seems to be easier with this one too!

I'm tempted to do the artifacts course this year (and hopefully some digging as well). Has anyone done 'artifacts' before? Is it interesting? (not you, Kurt, you're biased! )

I did the artefacts course 2 years ago (2002) - it was really good, I learned absolutely loads! Nisha x

Sandra,
I can confirm what Nisha says. I also did the course in 2002 and thought it was excellent - lots of information, you carry out work pertinent to St Leonards and have an excellent visit to Jorvik with Jim Spriggs, who tells you all about how the displays were set up and the conservation issues involved. A week well spent!

Cool, thanks for the recommendation. Of course I'll have to stay for a week of digging as well, wouldn't want to miss out on that.

Me biased? Never! Seriously, I wouldn't want to be charged under the Trades Descriptions Act, so I'll leave the comments on the quality of the courses to former trainees.
