Hi All,
Things are gathering pace with the bookings for St Mary's.
There are still places for the training side of things in every week (some are nearly full)..... But accommodation is a different matter. We have only got a small number of places in each week still available.
There are plenty of alternatives with places to stay, especially since we are bang in the middle of a City. Below I will paste a load of information.....
(before I go.. If anybody has any specific things they would like to do regarding training etc during the summer, just give me a shout I will try to arrange it)
............there is a wide range of hostels, university campus rooms, bed and breakfast establishments and hotels for your accommodation in York. They have a correspondingly wide range of prices; the cheapest, in a 2-4 bedded, shared, youth-hostel, is about 14 per night; single university rooms, about 1 mile from the town centre, are about 21 per night/140 per 7 day week; and bed & breakfast/small hotels start at about 25.00 per person per night. For further information contact Roomcheck (www.roomcheck.co.uk/yk) on +44 (0)1904 621756, or York Tourism Bureau on +44 (0)1904 554455.
