Even though it is not Viking the mortar is pretty nice and would make a symmetrical design

Strewth, so after last year's 'Boil in the Bag Baby's Head' fiasco you now want to put a Chamber Pot across my chest?
I am genuinely disappointed.

not sure if this is too late...but the bead looks alright as just an outline with the colour of a t-shirt behind it (the right picture).....
(plus the bead is viking..)

Right then.......

I have tried -

Bead - looked like it was an 'ethnic' design nothing to do with archaeology
Mortar - too much of a block of colour and did not shade very well
Comb - just impossible to weed properly with all the lines
Belt end - looked like a ghost off PacMan if you made it shorter

A picture with an origin suggested by Artemi is just with Pete to be checked and then we may go with that.

Aw, but if you went with the belt end we could colour code them. I call dibs on Blinky.

I'm intrigued by this design suggested by Artemi, though. Can you elucidate further? Or would you have to shoot us?

'A decorated floor tile in matching Stopford's WH/74 (Stopford 2005., 186), comprises a crowned king's head diagonal to the tile framed above by a semi-circular arch. This was designed to be laid as four adjoining king's heads. These tiles are all Nottinghamshire tiles, dating to 1325-1365.'
